Keynote Address

Birding: The Art of Seeing

What do we really see when we look at a bird? Clark will pose that question and discuss birding as a method of seeing, not just checking off bird names or reciting field marks seen in bird-identification field guides. He will talk about the mistakes we make when trying to quickly identify birds, the tips we should use when looking at a bird, and the pitfalls to avoid if we hope to enjoy a lifetime of watching birds.
